‘Yakunay is all about lifting my country’s music industry to another height. It started at envisioning myself as my entry into the global market through my hit single ‘Butta My Bread’ but then it dawned on me that I am the first and only global artist to come out of Liberia at this moment. This feeling inspired me to do Yakunay, pretty much a hello from the “Rula” of Liberian music to the globe.’, says JZyNo.
‘Yakunay’ is produced by Nhlonipho from Johannesburg, South Africa. Nhlonipho is famous for working with prominent artists such as Robot Boii, MFR Souls, Aymos, Baby S.O.N, Mörda, Black Coffee and Heavy-K.

Jonathon Lee Pratt emerged onto the music scene in 2019, drawing inspiration from Kendrick Lamar. His hit "Kpan Kpan Me" catapulted him into the spotlight, clinching the MTN Liberian Music Awards' Afropop song of 2020.
