Hailing from Miami, Florida – currently residing between London and LA - and melding alternative-R&B with a range of experimental inflections to bring a captivating and hypnotic new sound, the exciting new singer-songwriter Ed.releases his debut single ‘Live Yours’ (out now on prmiseland).
Produced by Darkchild protégé Jack Lawson (SZA, Alex Vaugh, Blxst, Ty Dolla $ign) and mixed by industry veteran Denis Koziak (Khalid, Majid Jordan, Lil Durk), ‘Live Yours’ brings together an off-kilter R&B sound with cadences of psychedelic sonics and undertones of high-energy Hip-Hop to deliver bold, cutting-edge melodies underpinned by strong social messages around living your life as fully and authentically as possible. The song is the first single from his forthcoming debut EP which is set to be released next year.
According to Ed. “art is an expression of identity, freedom of mind and truth to your own definition of creation.” Speaking on the message he hopes to convey through his music, he adds “I believe it is important to always stay present, show up as your best self and strive daily to become more aligned with the cosmic beings we all truly are. My music is a message to stray away from other people’s perspectives, find yourself daily, be open to change and always stay mindful in the moments that make up your journey.”
