Alté frontrunner and pioneering artist BOJ, today shares “Gbagada Express vol.2: Moving Mad”, released via esteemed imprint Moves Recordings. The bountiful 9-track project features a wealth of established and burgeoning talent from across the diaspora including Ayra Starr, Mellissa, Knucks, Tay Iwar, ODUMODUBLVCK And Olamide.
Listeners were initially introduced to the decadent new EP with the smooth and sultry “2 Bad”, a mellow and incandescent single boasting production credits from Adey and Spaxxx. BOJ eloquently bridged the gap between London and Lagos once more with the luscious follow up track “Line Of Fire” featuring revered Nigerian vocalist Ayra Starr. The soulful and intoxicating “Soak Garri” featuring Knucks and Tay Iwar was the final piece of the puzzle leading into the release of the anticipated ‘Gbagada Express Vol.2: Moving Mad’.

Born in England and raised between the UK and Nigeria, Alté has come to sum up Boj’s far-reaching influences, it has been the driving force with which he has been able to draw together artists from around the diaspora spanning grime to afrobeats. BOJ’s previous collaborations have included Skepta, Tiwa Savage, Davido, WizKid, Amaarae, Enny, Obonjayar, Mr Eazi, and more recently the Brit and Grammy Award winning Dave on the track “Lazarus” taken from the hit UK number 1 album “We’re All In This Alone Together”. BOJ splits his time between solo projects and the alté pioneering collective DRB LasGidi, alongside long time friend and collaborator TeeZee.
