Currently, the world is waiting patiently for Shenseea‘s long-awaited debut album. Thus far, the Jamaican emcee has blessed us with notable singles like “Run Run,” “Be Good,” “You’re The One I Love” with Rvssian, and, most recently, “Dolly” — today (Jan. 21), she keeps the momentum going with the incredible sultry “Lick,” a collaboration with Megan Thee Stallion that sees production from BoogzDaBeast, Joseph L’Étranger, and Murda Beatz. As the title suggests, the track sees the artists essentially instructing their lovers on how they prefer to be pleased sexually:
“Flick it well fast but not too much, mix it like from a sippy cup, love big dick but dat nuh enough, mi want mi pum-pum sucked, sucked, sucked, I’m a queen, so, boy, go down ‘pon your knees, mi wan’ siddung ‘pon your head, ‘pon your mind, every time this spray clunge on dinner time, my legs are open wide, open yuh mouth, put up mi pum-pum, make your tongue go, lick, lick, lick…”
Shenseea’s been making some big appearances outside of her own work as well — one example would be alongside Canadian star Belly on “How I’m Feelin,” which is taken from EA Sports’ Madden NFL 22soundtrack — she also provided her talents on Kanye West’s big LP DONDA. In addition, Shenseea took the stage at Hot 97’s Summer Jam last year, rubbing elbows with the likes of CJ, DreamDoll, Rotimi, and Swizz Beatz. This in turn came mere weeks after Shenseea stopped by Funkmaster Flex’s show at said station to freestyle over Skillibeng’s viral “Crocodile Teeth” instrumental. Meanwhile, Megan Thee Stallion last liberated the mixtape Something For Thee Hotties, which saw 21 cuts and collaborations alongside Juicy J, Dino Btw, and VickeeLo. Hopefully, her official follow-up to the chart-topping debut Good News is on the way.
