This event is a reincarnation from a previous educational event, THE AFROBEATS EDUCATIONAL ROADSHOW which was established by Strictly Entertainment Music in the UK back in 2011 with 8 series and ran for 5 years. It was an initiative setup with a focus to bring the early UK African emerging business scene into a space for the 1st time where they could interact with with the wider mainstream UK music business sector such as trade bodies and independent / major businesses etc operating in the commercial space. The last Roadshow was was hosted by the British Phonographic Industries (BPI) in their London office back in 2016.
