Such is the talent of Burgandy Williams, the vivacious Soul/R&B singer who will be bringing her talents to Pizza Express in Holborn on March 1st & 2nd 2019.
Burgandy hails from the urban, jazzy city of Atlanta and her style of music gives credit and stays true to the classical souls and R&B rhythms. In her success, she is a first-place winner of Amateur Night at Apollo Theatre in New York city and she has also trail blazed as opening act for the legendary Babyface.
Audiences can expect the best of the best with Burgandy’s powerhouse vocals. Her performances will be backed by the Phasma band who will no doubt be driving the musical selections of the authentic old school R&B and classical soul sound.
Burgandy comes from a strong lineage of musical talents with her grandfather, James Williams as lead singer of The Gospel Hummoniers, her grandmother as song writer and her father, Kenneth Williams as lead singer of Atlanta’s early 80’s R&B group. She sings with a strong foundation and will be bringing all that power to Pizza Express Live!
Her sound continues to take over stages in Atlanta, Texas, New York and she is now ready and geared up for her shows in London.
