SILVASTONE is a fast-rising London-based international African artist/producer whose unique sound is a creative hybrid of influences from his West African and UK upbringing, and, his worldwide travels.
The cheekily catchy “Real Man” is his banging latest release that has already been enjoying early support from key international DJs and receiving great reaction from his music fans. The self-produced heater employs his signature blend of big infectious vibes over sweet banging beats and lush global melodies to great effect. Also along for the joy ride is the talented artist/director GORY (Concept 5 Films) who takes a pause from producing dope music videos to bless the track with a hot sweet 16. The hotly-tipped MOBO Awards and Urban Music Awards "Best African Act 2015" nominee SILVASTONE has continuously enjoyed heavy support on radio, television and online from some of the most influential DJ's, broadcasters and bloggers worldwide. SILVASTONE’s widely acclaimed debut EP "Transitions" earned him a spot on the coveted "BBC Radio 1Xtra Hot For 2015" ones to watch list plus attracted him performance bookings at the world famous Glastonbury Festival, both Dance Afrique events at Wembley Arena, official support on the Fuse ODG UK national tour, opening act for official recent UK concerst for Davido, Kiss Daniels, etc. It also took him far and wide performing at numerous events and festivals worldwide including the Nigeria Industry Night in Lagos, Shoko Festival in Zimbabwe, numerous shows in Kenya, Gambia, Sierra Leone, Sweden and soon the upcoming SXSW Music Festival 2016 in Austin, Texas.
Born to Sierra Leonean and Ghanaian parentage SILVASTONE has officially produced/remixed/featured with some of the hottest artists from Africa and around the world including Davido, Rita Ora, 2Face, Chidinma, Mark Morrison, Damian Marley, Mista Silva, Afrojack etc., plus worked on projects with some of the most prolific global brands including Coca-Cola, Emirates Air, Kenya Airways, Nike, Warner Bros, etc. His own most recent releases have included features from Sarkodie, Yemi Alade, Ace Hood, Sneakbo and Chaka Demus and Pliers.
