Okonkwo onyebuchi joseph ( Popularly known as J-baba, born 12 October 1993) is a Nigerian Afro Pop Singer and song writer. He adopted the stage name J-baba a combination of his middle name Joseph his Childhood nickname Baba. J-baba is a descent of Anambra, was born in Papa Ajao Mushin Lagos State to Mr. and Mrs. Okonkwo.He attended Baby land primary and nursery in Mushin, and later attended Gideon comprehensive high school in Okota, where he got admission in the University of Madonna in Rivers State. There he read electrical electronics engineering and graduated with a second class upper. He started his musical career at the age of 15 , when he recorded his first song titled "That lady". J-baba likes hanging out in the studio and gets inspired when he listens to instrumentals. He has described his music as a morally inclined variation of Afro pop.
