Earlier this month, BBC Radio 1Xtra Breakfast presenter Twin B travelled to Ghana as part of 1Xtra’s ‘Destination Africa’ season.

As part of the trip, Twin B linked up 3 musicians of Ghanaian descent for a UK & Ghana Music Exchange – Mobo award-winner and no. 3 on the BBC Sound of 2015 poll Stormzy; BBC Introducing artist Jay Vades; and Ghanaian artist Jojo Abot.

Despite never working together before, the trio met-up in Accra to write and record a track and Twin B and Yasmin Evans premiered their brand new track ‘Mievado’, which translates as ‘We’ve Arrived’, on 1Xtra Breakfast.

The track is available as a free download and can be downloaded here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/podcasts/series/homegrown
