ENTERTAINMENT NEWS: Meek Mill To Be Released From Prison





Meek Mill is getting an early Christmas present.

After serving five months behind bars, the rapper, born Robert Williams, will be released from prison today (December 2) after being sentenced to three to six months for probation violation in July. 

A representative from the City of Philadelphia Prison System confirmed to REVOLT that Meek is still in custody, however, he will be released later this afternoon or evening. 

Meanwhile, per a representative from the Philadelphia DA's office, we can also confirm that a judge agreed to the Maybach Music Group rapper’s release today.

This confirmation comes after FOX 29 reported on the release this morning, also stating that Meek would be assigned to community service, anger management counseling, and, due to his probabtion, will not be allowed to travel outside of Philadelphia.
