After the overwhelming positive reviews the original track received, Vibe Squad teamed up with UK’s renowned musician Donaeo ( responsible for hit songs like “Party Hard”, “I’m Fly”, “Move To The Gyaldem” “FIRE”) to run a competition which will see the winner join them on the remix of DROP. It was no surprise that London’s energetic and fast-rising group NSG deservedly won the competition with their quirky, vibrant and clever verse. JOAT Production is accredited for the impeccable instrumental on this track.
The original track accompanied by a viral dance cypher was a massive success and made waves in several parts of Europe receiving wild radio play around the continent. The song was featured this year’s TOP DANCE WEEKEND held in Detroit, leading to several dance groups making youtube dance videos to the track.
DROP REMIX sees Donaeo unleashing his silky but powerful vocal prowess, accompanied by his quirky melodies. NSG brings life and energy to the track with their lyrical and bouncy flow and Vibe Squad kills it off with the same vibes that has had the industry fall in love with them since their emergence in 2011. DROP remix can only be described as a fusion of Afrobeats and Afro House music , and this perhaps explains Donaeo’s appearance on the track.
