Sony‘s Fashion Entertainments, a relatively unknown division of progressive, fashion-minded gadgets, has welcomed itself into the tech world through an innovative series of e-paper watches. The watches are a far cry from the current crop of wearable technology timepieces which rely heavily on interconnectivity as aselling point. Instead, the watches are ultra simple and focused on aesthetics. The realization of these watches came courtesy of a crowd funding campaign on the Japanese site Makuake. There’s no word yet on a launch date, but given the interest, there’s a good chance these will see the light of day sooner, rather than later.
