The Qimini Deuce is a wireless charging pad with a difference, ditching the cables completely when you head out on the road and charging your mobile
wirelessly courtesy of its integrated battery.

Wireless charging pads are already incredibly cool, letting you place compatible devices on top without having to worry about finding USB ports or unplugging them each time you pick them up. You'll still need to stay close to power sockets
with most of them though, restricting the flexibility they have to offer.

Not so with the Qimini Deuce, a Kickstarter charging pad that can also work on its own away from a power source. It means you'll be able to slip the pad in your pocket or bag when you head out for the day, whipping it onto the table
(or even leaving it in your pocket alongside your phone) to charge up when needed most, all without a cable in sight.

Qimini already has a history of producing wireless chargers, with the Deuce a follow-up to the more traditional Pocket wireless charger. The Deuce features a similar round design, looking more like a coloured coaster than a charging device, but this time it also crams in a 2000mAh battery. It may not be enough to charge the biggest phone batteries up completely, but it'll definitely be handy for top ups on the go.
Interested in getting your mitts on one? Head over to the Deuce Kickstarter page - the best Early Bird deals have already gone, but you'll still be able to get hold of one by pledging $69AUS (£37) - a 10 per cent saving
over the expected retail price.
