REVIEW: Debrah Rose - Super Woman (Review) by Minnie Marj. @marjoriefiedler @DebrahRoseUK

My People,

It seems like I have abandoned you for a while but NO. You know that I am not capable of such. I've got too much to say.

If you followed up a bit, then you know that I was pretty much busy traveling around and also was at the BET Awards this year with Factory78. We have a lot in store for you.

Let's get straight to the point: This is not about Me but as usual a song or video release.

I don't have enough words to describe my feelings after I listened to this track.

One of the advantages I have is that I receive songs exclusively before their release and submit my feedback. I was honored to enjoy Debrah Rose 's first single "Super Woman" before its official release today at 12 noon.

Debrah Rose is a sensational British-Nigerian afro-soul singer/songwriter. The talented young singer who hails from South London is set to take the music industry by storm, not just in the UK but worldwide; with her one of a kind distinctive vocals. The 20-year-old describes her sound as “soul with an African fusion” creating her own music genre titling it “afro-soul”.

Already having been compared to the likes of Adele, Amy Winehouse and Asa for their powerful voices, Rose draws influences from Asa, Lauryn Hill and Mary J. Blige for her songwriting skills and gift to turn her stories into songs.

Infusing English and her native tongue of Yoruba together, Debrah Rose’s bubbly personality and her raspy vocals really come out in her music, where she effortlessly brings the two together.

You can imagine that "Super Woman" is on rotation in my shuffle because Debrah Rose speaks my mind out loud. This is the exact message I would love to pass on when God decides to let my better half appear in my life. lol As a real woman, you wish to be the hero in your man's life.

Be his best friend, his soul mate, rescue him from the trouble of this world, Be his all, Be his Superwoman. Yes I got that S on my chest. :-)

Indeed many individuals have been hurt in the past and are therefore scared to give access to their heart again when the right one is there.

Don't be blinded by the bad experiences that you have made.
Open your heart, your mind, your soul and be ready to embrace and welcome the person who is ready to change your vision of love and be with you in all situations.

I invite you to listen carefully to the song and receive any message that might help you out of the situation you are currently in. This is the moral of the song.

I do believe that you will get addicted to this song.

Debrah Rose is definitely a very promising artist to look out for.
A successful first single it is. #SayNoMore
