ENTERTAINMENT NEWS: Keith Murray To Face Fredro Starr In New "Super Star Battle"

Each rapper is slated to get two 16-round verses over a beat that will be performed back-to-back.

MC War has announced “New World Order II,” an event set to feature the first “Super Star Battle” between Keith Murray, from the New York-based group Def Squad, and Fredro Starr from the Queens, New York group Onyx.

The battle format is as follows: coin toss, winner of the coin flip automatically goes second and a three-round battle.

In the first round, each artist gets two verses of 16 bars over a beat that will be performed back-to-back, as if they were doing a song together. Breaks should be no longer than two-four bars depending on the crowd volume and applause.

Rounds two and three follow the same setup as the first.

“Absolutely no touching,” MC War says, adding to the battle's rule. “Any physical contact can and will immediately disqualify the emcee.”

The event is scheduled for September 28, 2014 at The Atrium, 5479 Memorial Drive, Stone Mountain, GA.
