Chocolate City Kenya’s fast rising singing sensation Victoria Kimani has been keeping fans up to date with her musical journey through her new reality web series ‘The Rise of Queen Victoria’. More recently, she is Ready to unveil her new single ‘Prokoto’,
which features Diamond and Ommy Dimpoz, two major acts in Tanzania in a Smash dance-hit.
‘Prokoto’ (a slang meaning swag) follows her two previous successful hits ‘Whoa’ and ‘M’Toto’, and is a heavy percussion based tune, which sees Victoria Kimani, Diamond and Ommy Dimpoz blend their native Swahili language with English to produce a sound that will surely thrill audiences.
Victoria Kimani’s ‘Prokoto’ resembles that of a traditional African sound, and captivates the listener from the opening beat; there will be lots of dancing and, gyrating.Anticipate.
Born in Los Angeles, but originally from Kenya, Victoria Kimani started writing, recording and performing at 16. She lived in Nigeria during her high school years, but moved back to Nairobi, Kenya at the age of 17. Recently Victoria released three singles off her upcoming album and has become a fan favorite across Africa; performing at various concerts and A-list events including the Big Brother Africa Live Show. She recently worked on the recording of the ONE Campaign #DoAgric theme song and video alongside other African musicians such as Dbanj, Fally Ipupa, and Femi Kuti.
Her singles OYA, which featured label mate M.I, as well as WHOA and M'TOTO have earned her the crown of Africa's pop diva. Her mixtape QUEEN VICTORIA is presently out.
