The second big event to come from Nigeria's pre-World Cup friendly against Scotland - the first being Charlie Mulgrew's back heel wonder goal - has raised red flags surrounding an incident involving an own goal by Nigerian goalkeeper Austin Ejide.
With his team down 1-0 to Scotland, Ejide challenged for a ball coming into his box and looked like he would make a routine save for a goalkeeper. Instead of easily catching the ball however, the Nigerian goalkeeper proceeded to seemingly throw the ball into his own net.
The goal was eventually ruled out after the referee ruled Scotland defender GrantHanley to have fouled the goalkeeper, but Ejide's efforts sure raise a lot of questions as to whether match-fixing was involved.
