Daddy doesn’t always know best.
A Houston, Texas man was arrested after allegedly whipping his daughter with a belt after he found outshe was dancing with her African-American friend at the rehearsal for her quinceañera.
Aaron Aranza was livid when his 14-year-old daughter decided to choose the friend to practice her dance with. Aranza called off the celebration and dragged the teen into the house, where he attacked her with a belt. He then pushed her 15-year-old friend, called him a racial slur and said, “I don’t care that you are a kid.”
He asked his daughter if she was really going to dance with the boy at her 15th birthday celebration
. “Are you serious?” he asked. He also threw her down causing her to hit her arm on a coffee table. He also reportedly threatened to take her to his house to live, even though her mother has custody.

Aranza was arrested a month later. He has been charged with injury to a child and is currently being held on $20,000 bail.
