Eminem has been banned from playing British Summer Time at Hyde Park this July after failing to receive ‘royal approval’ from the Queen.

And the 41-year-old ‘Monster’ singer is rather cut up about the whole thing.

Eminem, who would have been making is debut at the venue, said: “That’s mean, man. It kinda hurts my feelings.”

Poor lad.

As to why the Queen decided against Eminem performing is being kept under wraps with a source telling The Sun: “Eminem confirmed the show, then it was mysteriously cancelled.”

Led by the Royal Family, The Royal Parks organisation is in charge of granting permission for acts to play in the park.

Clearly, Eminem didn’t cut the mustard.

But it’s not all bad news for Em, who will now be playing at Wembley Stadium instead, making him the first rapper to headline the iconic venue.

Speaking about the change of venue, Eminem said: "I heard that I wasn't going to be approved to play in Hyde Park and it made me even more excited to play in London this summer.
"The easiest way to get me to do something is to tell me I can't do it. Thanks to the Royal Parks for making it all possible... for Wembley."
All’s well that ends well, eh?
For those who, unlike the Queen, are a fan of the rapper, tickets will go on sale on Friday, May 9 at 9am.
