Meet Mrs Adenike Ogunlesi, a mother and businesswoman that lives in Nigeria. She wrote this letter and is circulating it on the internet for Nigerian and other non-Nigerian mothers to share and remain hopeful through these unfortunate occurrences in the country.
"Dear Mothers,
As a mother blessed with such a great large family, my greatest NIGHTMARE is losing my children. My greatest gifts from God are first and foremost, my children. I will give up anything for their well being and happiness.
That being said, I am in deep sadness and pray everyday for every mother that is still awaiting their daughters' return home from the Boko Haram terror and horror.
TO THE NIGERIAN MOTHERS WORLDWIDE:
I am thankful for every mother in the United States, United Kingdom, Europe, Africa and the rest of the world that has made their voice heard either through a protest in their country of abode, or through social media. May God bless and protect your own children. Let us remember the girls, their mothers and their families in our daily prayers. No matter how short the prayer may be, please do it everyday. This could be your daughter, your sister, your niece or your cousin.
To Mrs. Barrack Obama and all NON-NIGERIAN MOTHERS and WOMEN WORLDWIDE:
I thank you all for sharing this concern as an emergency. It is a sad situation and we are grateful to have been treated as a priority amidst your daily affairs. May God bless you, your families, your countries and your goals and desires in life as you continue to
keep our girls in prayer."
