GADGET: Tonino Lamborghini unleashes turbocharged earphones to match your (dream) supercar!

Tonino Lamborghini is a lifestyle brand with some pretty cool gadgets in its armoury, including a stylish range of smartphones. The company is now targeting the headphone elite, with the launch of the new and distinctive Tonino Lamborghini Quantum in-ear headphones.

Tonino Lamborghini itself isn’t related to the supercar company with a similar name, but if the raging bull in the badge looks familiar, it’s because there is a direct family link; Automobili Lamborghini was founded by Tonino’s father, Ferruccio Lamborghini.

And there’s definitely a link when it comes to stunning designs and eye-catching colours, with the contrasting Beats-like black and red finish helping the Quantum range to really stand out from the crowd. The range is currently made up of three different headphones: the Quantum ML-01, Quantum HL-01 and the Quantum EL-01.

The ML-01 packs in an 8mm driver, and Tonino Lamborghini claims it uses geeky-sounding “TFAT technology to deliver an expressive vocal range, comfortable treble and a heavy, bouncy bass.” Techy, but hopefully it’ll result in sound quality that can match the design.

The HL-01 is the range-topping choice, and the company explains they’re “fitted with a high-tech dual driver with an integrated crossover that delivers unprecedented sound quality.” As for the EL-01, Tonino Lamborghini has gone for something a little different, with these tiny earphones also doubling up as a hands-free kit for smartphones.

The Tonino Lamborghini Quantum range will hit the shops in the UK in June, with pricesstarting at £58 for the Quantum EL-01, rising to £82 for the Quantum ML-01, and £124 for the Quantum HL-01.
