A new update heading to the Xbox One’s YouTube app that’s expected to arrive today will let you publish videos that have been captured from Game DVR and edited with Upload Studio, directly to your YouTube account. The app update will also let you snap YouTube videos to the side, pin individual videos, earn Media Achievements for watching videos, and add YouTube channels to the OneGuide alongside your usual TV listings.
Previously, after yelling at your Xbox One to “Record”, you had to share the clip withMicrosoft’s own OneDrive cloud service – but now you’re able to beam your favourite videos straight to YouTube, meaning you can upload your epic Titanfall fragfests directly to the world’s most viewed video website, and even add your own commentary if you like.
