It seems like every man and his dog has released an Kickstarter project, with the people behind it looking for £35,000 to get the project up and running.
Machined from a solid block of aluminium, the Juice dock looks every inch an Apple product. It more than matches the simple and high quality design we’ve come to expect from Apple gadgets, using gravity to hold your iPad in place, and looking just as good whether the tablet is docked or not.
The Juice attaches to your wall via two screws, and once fitted it almost looks like it’s floating. It’s capable of charging your iPad when docked, and neatly hides messy charging cables Or at least, it does if you know a plasterer or can hide the cables that run from your socket to the dock – you’ll ruin the effect somewhat if cables are left to drape down the wall…
Alas, the Juice’s talents don’t stretch to playing back music or any other features – justlooking pretty and offering a much needed charge every now and again, but it’s definitely a neat way of storing your iPad.
