After his work on Kanye West's 'Yeezus' last year, Evian Christ has revealed he's working with the rapper again for his forthcoming album.
Speaking to Self-titled, the Ellesmere Port producer states that Kanye recently sent him an e-mail requesting another beat.
"I’ve got to get home and write an Otis Redding–style beat for him. He wants something that sounds a bit like Otis Redding, a bit like Mobb Deep."
He also spoke of his recent 'Waterfall' EP, a small collection of warped trance, hip hop and techno, defending his right to be experimental.
"Maybe I’ve gone too far one way on this one, but fuck it, I think I’m all right to experiment. I didn’t want to make music to stroke your beard to.
"Electronic music live can often be so serious and so smug, but everyone just stands around. I want my music to be fun, or if not fun, then at least physical."
