The 3rd Nigerian Entertainment and Lifestyle Awards (NEL Awards) will hold on Saturday the 8th
of February 2014, 6.30pm – 12midnight at The Regent, 331 Regent Park road, Finchley Central N3
1DP. This will be a high profile event at a prestigious venue to formally recognize the achievements
of Nigerians in entertainment, the creative and lifestyle sectors. The evening will consist of an award ceremony, dinner, keynote addresses and entertainment. Also during the awards event a short film ‘We are Nigerians’ –The Amalgamation film celebrating the
Nigerian Centenary in 2014.will be shown. This production was produced by Nkiru and Obi Asika.
The NIGERIAN ENTERTAINMENT & LIFESTYLE AWARDS (NEL Awards) commenced in 2011 and is established in the event calendar as the only industry event of its kind in the UK celebrating and recognising the achievements of Nigerians in the entertainment, creative and lifestyle sectors.
The NEL Awards not only showcases the best of Nigeria but encourages those wishing to break into the Nigerian market for business and investment. We have the support of Nigerians and a mainstream audience who are interested in established and emerging talent from Nigeria. event and for the VIP guest list we intend to attract core influencers to the Entertainment, Creative and Lifestyle sectors, At our previous award nights we have attracted top personalities, dignitaries, leading businesses and public figures. On 12 September 2012, we hosted a reception at the Nigerian
High Commission for our NEL Finalists. The Nigerian High Commission are very impressed with our initiative and have pledged their continued support of the NEL Awards.
