Chief Keef has official confirmation that he fathered yet another child, this time a 10-month-old baby, TMZ reports.
Keef, currently in a California rehab facility in the midst of a 90-day stay, was represented in an Illinois courtroom Monday (Nov. 25) by his lawyer Erica Early, who reviewed the DNA documents in front of Cook County Judge Russell Hartigan. "An order was entered finding him to be the father," Cook County spokeswoman Lisa Gordon confirmed to the Chicago Tribune.
He reportedly never denied that the child was his, and was ordered to shell out $2,500 a month for the toddler beginning Dec. 1, in addition to a $25,000 bulk payment by Dec. 31. He has also been ordered to obtain life and health insurance for the child, Gordon said.
This latest paternity development is one of two open child support cases on the rapper's record. He struck a payment deal last month to cover $11,000 for a second child after the baby's mother sued him for $20,900 in back pay, and he was arrested in September for neglecting the order. He is due back in court for that case on Dec. 10, and will head right back on Jan. 27 for the current case.
