"Baddest Hips" by Peace Brotha, is the first official single which will be promoted here in Nigeria and the UK. The young rapper, who flows in English and Hausa delivers his lines with the confidence of a veteran. I'm proud to say, this song does not need too many words to describe it; I'd rather save the flowery words, so you can be the judge.
Peace Brotha's "Baddest Hips" was produced by Bolji Beatz and features another new singer by the name Davies Wyt.
Peace Brotha is a Kaduna bred rapper who has spent some years, underground, honing his skill. He is one of the many talented brilliant rappers hovering Nigeria's 'Hiphopsphere'. His first shot at the mainstream was when he participated in Top Radio's 'Next Top Talent' competition, held in 2012. In the first round of the competition, the rapper scored 29 points behind a Pop singer who scored 30. Even tho he didn't win the overall competition, the organizers, including Top radio's OAP - Tosyn ticked him as a true talent to look out for.
Before the talent show, Peace Brotha who's real name is Friday Stanley David, had featured on 'The Underground Noise' Mixtape, hosted by DJ Lanre - CEO of UK based Factory 78. The mixtape is one of the five, the artiste has featured on. Some of the joints were played on VOA, London. He was also featured on "Mournful Moment" by Tolu (MTN Project Fame 2011).
Peace Brotha is unsigned and he shuttles between Lagos, Kaduna and Jos.
