FACTORY78 - Anthony Ogogo (Golden Boy Press Conference) Pt. 1&2

Lowestoft boxer Anthony Ogogo, who won a bronze medal at London 2012, has announced he is turning professional.

The bronze medallist has signed with leading boxing promoters, Golden Boy Promotions.

He has a 5-year contract and his first professional fight is expected to be late April.

He says his decision to sign with an American company will allow him to remain living in Lowestoft and training in Norwich, though he will also spend time in the USA.

The 24-year-old says his decision to turn pro is not about money but because he hopes it will give him the chance to be the best middleweight boxer in the world.

Richard Schaefer, CEO of Golden Boy Promotions, says he believes Anthony has the talent and the charisma to be a global superstar.
