A member of the paparazzi has been run over and killed while apparently trying to take pictures of Justin Bieber. Published by @Lanredavies

The unnamed man, received fatal injuries after being run over on the side of Sepulveda Boulevard, LA. It is believed the man was taking pictures of Bieber’s white Ferrari. Investigating officers said Bieber was not in the car at the time of the incident. 

The photographer was taken to hospital but later died. Police have confirmed the driver of the vehicle which killed the man is unlikely to face charge.

In a short statement released by Mr Bieber’s spokesperson, the 18-year-old singer said: ’While I was not present nor directly involved with this tragic accident, my thoughts and prayers are with the family of the victim.

‘Hopefully this tragedy will finally inspire meaningful legislation and whatever other necessary steps to protect the lives and safety of celebrities, police officers, innocent public bystanders, and the photographers themselves.’
