Gemma Feare wins Miss Jamaica UK 2012 (@thefeare). Published by @Lanredavies




The Camden Centre in London was filled to capacity as over 500 people hit-up the Miss Jamaica UK beauty pageant in London. Fifteen beautiful contestants representing Jamaican parishes competed against one another to be crowned the 2012-2013 Miss Jamaica UK.

After three intensive rounds Gemma Feare was judged to be the winner. First runner up was awarded to Stacey Ann Trenchfield with popular Sherika Miller as the Second Runner-up. Official Photographer Bret, representing FLYER and BDC London said: “The standard throughout was exceptionally high. Gemma was faultless in her delivery to the questions asked and the audience responded in kind.”

Marketing and Promotions Manager Patrick Weir from FLYER said: “The atmosphere was electric from the contestants through to the artists and performers. Miss Jamaica UK rates as one of the highlights of the years calender of events.”

Founder and CEO June Daily said: “Today was a great night for Jamaican’s. It was a poignant reminder that as a nation we stand strong throughout the Diaspora as we move forward in this our fiftieth year of independence. I would like to thank everyone our contestants, sponsors, volunteers, artists and judges and everyone who basically made this a fantastic show.”
