Kanye West has released a 54-second-long, bizarre trailer for his short film Cruel Winter which features lots of shots dead trees, rivers and the elder George Bush? Yup, you read that right.
.As nature images flash across the screen West samples the Bush’s 1991 announcement of the Gulf War which says, “We have before us the opportunity to forge for ourselves and for future generations, a new world order. A world where the rule of law not the law of the jungle governs the conduct of nations. When we are successful and we will be, we have a real chance at this new world order.”

Cruel Winter is the follow-up to the short film Cruel Summer which was screened at Cannes earlier this summer, although there has yet to be a confirmation that there will also be a Cruel Winter album that will accompany the film. Either way we’ll keep you posted on all things cinematic and all things Kanye, of course.
