DJ Abrantee: MOBO TV Interview. Published by @Lanredavies

One of London’s biggest urban radio station’s very own DJ Abrantee lets MOBO TV inside it’s downs and shows us around his studio at Choice FM. Always with a smile on his face, DJ Abrantee is more than happy to show us around his decks and even (unofficially) makes MOBO TV presenter Tasha his new co-host.

After this, we get down to busy as DJ Abrantee explains to us how he actually got into becoming a DJ and not only that, but making his Afro Beats show on Choice FM. A very interesting story with twists and turns that at first were not ideal for Abrantee, but as we all know now, everything went the DJ's way in the end. DJ Abrantee also talks about his new Afro Beats mixtape to promote the genre that got him this far. He explains how he contacted the likes of Wizkid and Iceprince to help him and all the African stars instantly agreed. Not only that, he also acquired the help from his UK contacts likes Chipmunk, Bashy and Wretch 32 and again, no one turned him down.

Afro Beats is on its way to becoming the main genre of world music and with probably the nicest man in the music business DJ Abrantee supporting them regulary, it’s only going to be a matter of time before this is the case.
