Y-Dollar (born Yusuf Owolabi Ademuyiwa) is a Nigerian artiste who has carved out a new genre of music he calls “Hip-life” which is a fusion of Hip hop and high life music.
He was born in the 80’s to the family of Mr and Mrs Ademuyiwa in Ogun state, Nigeria. Y-Dollar attended Lagos City College and Roland Communications, where he studied music engineering.
He recently released a single titled “Jeje laiye” which is currently gaining massive airplay across radio stations in Nigeria. The full album titled “Warning” is due for release soon.
