His real name is Uleh Samson Wajemuta and he was born and bred in the ghetto's of Nigeria. Wajudah was born on July 31st 1982, in the reknown ghetto of suburb Ajegunle (a.k.a. A.J.) to parents who originally hail from Isoko South, Delta State (Nigeria). 'I'm a ghetto youth!' he likes to tell anyone who cares to listen. After he graduated from senior secondary school, this young rastaman could not resist his strong passion for music. In 1998 he finally made up his mind that a musical carrier is what he wants to pursue. Haven been orphaned by the untimely death of both parents, he relocated to Port Harcourt, which is bubbling with fire! There he met producer Konboye 'Seenclear' Sinclair and together they recorded the 10 song album 'More Fire'. Wajudah got inspired by the lyrics of Bob Marley, Peter Tosh and Garnet Silk, along with African stars like Alpha Blondy, Lucky Dube, Majek Fashek and the icon of afro-beat, late Fela Anikulapo Kuti. Being a young man though, it is only natural that the work of contemporary acts of his generation will rub off more on him; hence his placing 3 Jamaican biggest and more fire brand artists of this era, Capleton, Anthony B and Sizzla Kalonji, are his role model. Though he is more inclined toward the dancehall idiom of the reggae genre, unlike many other artists, Wajudah is not satisfied with merely putting out sounds for people to dance to. He is pregnant with a strong message, inspired by a life of deprivation and lack, he experienced growing up in A.J City. WAJUDAH also record some new tune with a Jamaica riddim called my baby been used by various artistes from all the world the song entitle (ALL SHE WANT) &(NO BI BY DADA) have been having some massive air play all over Nigeria. WAJUDAH also have a crew called the JUDAH YARD CREW, the yard is a small musical yard with young talented artistes both male and female comprising of DANCERS, SINGERS, D-Jays RAPPERS and SONG WRITERS.
